Harvested 15kg of summer honey. Beautiful light color with a hint of linden. The bees were calm. Used a fume board for the first time – worked perfectly. Extracted, filtered and bottled 24 jars. Already sold half to local customers. Great season so far.

Inspected the hives today after winter. All three colonies survived. Queen right in two hives. The third has signs of supersedure. Added pollen patties and reduced entrance. Hoping for a strong honey flow in May. Will check again in 10 days.
